This Stanley’s Maple Lane Farm wedding was one of my faves this year. I didn’t know what to expect, it being a half Italian wedding and half Bulgarian, but it was the perfect blend of amazingness. I’ve photographed a few Italian weddings, and you can’t argue with me…sometimes they are over the top. This wedding was what every wedding should be about: love, the union of two families and a celebration.

The day started off at the bride’s family home where the girls and bridesmen were getting ready.

Over at the groom’s family home, the boys were getting prepped.

We arrived to Stanley’s Maple Lane Farm where the bride and groom decided to do a first look, before the ceremony. Those who know me, know I’m a huge supporter of the first look. It’s about one of the only times you will get over the course of the day where there aren’t a 100 pairs of eyes on you.

I’m also a sucker for a first look because I know they are always full of emotion…and this one was a good one.

Julia and Peyo decided to use this time to read their “real” vows to one another. The ones they just knew they wouldn’t be able to get through during the ceremony, without sobbing. It was all kinds of adorable.

Julia and Peyo went to the same high school, but it wasn’t until years later in University that they reconnected and fell in love. Listening to their friends and family speak that evening, you just knew they were a match made in heaven.

Onto the ceremony, Julia and her father walked down this beautiful pathway of trees, past all the guests, before making their grand entrance down the aisle. It was so special getting a glimpse of the bride before she made her way down the aisle!

The stone steps at Stanley’s Maple Lane Farm are my fave – I mean, how can you not love this light?!

The bride and groom’s wedding bands were passed around to each member of the wedding party, with wishes of love and a lifetime of happiness.

Can we please talk about how epic this photo is? A goat, people. You can’t argue with a goat.

A few more photos of the bride and groom, and then it was off to the reception!

Julia and Peyo love birch trees. You may even remember their winter engagement session that was all about the beautiful trees! Birch trees made an appearance throughout their reception decor, from the birch logs as centerpieces to the birch tree inspired cake!

Most adorable grand entrance ever!
