This intimate backyard wedding at Kevin and Sabrina’s home in Manotick was one for the books. Along the Rideau River, Kevin and Sabrina built their dream home from scratch where they would later host their wedding among their closest family and friends.

The week prior to their wedding, I pulled into their driveway to meet them for the first time and take a few engagement photos. I was floored. This house is impeccably designed from top to bottom. With infinity windows throughout the house and an indoor/outdoor infinity pool…I wanted to move in.

The day of their wedding, it was threatening rain. The wind was rolling in from the water, the clouds getting thicker. But Kevin and Sabrina were as cool as cucumbers.

Sabrina was getting ready in her master suite, putting the final touches on her hair and makeup when I arrived.

The Gathering Event Co. knocked it out of the park with the beautiful Cambodian inspired florals…a nod to Sabrina’s heritage.

In case this day could get any more special, this was the first time all 4 of these sisters had been together in over 18 years. You could just feel the love and excitement!

Over on the other side of the house, Kevin and his groomsmen were playing pool and drinking beers. Boys will be boys 🙂

Downstairs, Courtney Elizabeth Events and her team were putting the finishing touches on all the table settings.

Before we knew it, this wedding was ready to begin. Guests were seated and Kevin and Sabrina were making their way downstairs.

Sabrina’s children walked her down the aisle…perfection 🙂

Following dinner, the couple shared their first dance among family and friends and danced the night away.

It was the perfect day, with no shortage of tears and laughs from all. Congrats to Kevin and Sabrina!
