Ottawa Art Gallery Modern Wedding: Jessica and Brennan |

I had been looking forward to this modern wedding at the Ottawa Art Gallery ever since the bride and groom’s engagement session at the Ottawa U campus earlier in the summer. These two are so fun, so in love and bonus: so beautiful. It was also my first time shooting a wedding at the Ottawa Art Gallery and I was so excited to see this room transformed into something magical. And let me tell you…it exceeded my expectations. You wait.

Our day started off at the Andaz Hotel in downtown Ottawa where the wedding party was getting ready.

The bride and groom chose to do their first look on the rooftop of the Andaz Hotel. It was the sweetest thing ever.

From the hotel, we made our way to Strathcona Park, where we walked around with the wedding party and took some photos.

As we started walking back to the parking lot, the wedding party was pumping some old school dance tunes from the car in Jess’ honour.

OK. Lets talk about how incredible this is. Amazing light installation with Edison bulbs suspended from the ceiling. Copper arch with beautiful florals from the amazing Pollen Nation. Just beautifully executed. I can’t even. And wait until you see the bubble chairs!

Guests were treated to an amazing cocktail hour at Jackson with champagne and an oyster bar while the room upstairs was being flipped for the reception.
