In case it was even possible, I am 110% more excited to photograph Jess and Brennan’s wedding this coming October at the Ottawa Art Gallery. Now that I’ve got their engagement session under my belt, I know it’s going to be an amazing day! What a gorgeous pair!

Jess and Brennan decided on the UOttawa campus for their engagement session location because 1) it’s Brennan’s alma mater, 2) they live downtown and 3) it has beautiful character! We had a great time walking around campus looking for little spots and different backdrops to use.

A quick little wardrobe change and we headed over to the canal just as the sun was setting in the most perfect way. Storm clouds were starting to roll in but this light…oh my, this beautiful light.

Like, honestly you two. I can’t. You guys killed it. And Jess, you are unbelievably gorgeous.

If only all engagement sessions could end with a perfect shot like this. I think as someone who is an Ottawa native, we often forget how stunning this city is. This evening was a perfect reminder of why I love this beautiful city we call home. Thank you Jess and Brennan for the most incredible session!
