You know that feeling where your whole body just tingles from excitement? How you just know deep down this is going to be something big?

Well, let me tell you…this is something I’m feeling real jazzed about. Something that fuels my soul and reignites my love for this job. It’s been something I have wanted to do for a while, but has always hit the back burner in the business when other things have gotten in the way.

But today, I am so happy to introduce to you…The Adventure Session.

It’s a chance to add to your wedding portfolio with something completely different, completely unique. The opportunity to get the wedding photos you may have always dreamed of, but that didn’t quite fit into your wedding day.
Adventure sessions allow more time on your wedding day to spend with family and friends and not feel stressed about cramming it all in. This session allows us to really capture your connection, and what makes you the couple that you are, without the distraction of everything else going on on your wedding day. I can’t tell you how many times things have run late on a wedding day and the time we had for portraits of the bride and groom was so brief, I just knew I wasn’t able to capture those real moments or that real connection between them. If you’re already married, you know how quickly your wedding day becomes about everyone else. You want to visit with each and every one of your guests who made the effort to be there to celebrate you. While the focus might be on you, your focus is often on everyone else.
The Adventure Session is all about the two of you, without the formality of your wedding day. You have the freedom to do whatever you want, wherever you want. Bonus: this if your wedding day 2.0! Because it is true what they say, the first one goes by in a flash. So lets go adventure together.

Maybe you wanted to get married at your family cottage, but it didn’t pan out. Maybe you envisioned sharing a poutine together at Elgin Street Diner in your wedding attire, but Mom & Dad would have given you that judgey look. Or maybe you have always wanted a winter wedding but we live in Ottawa and well…that is risky business.
Think of dipping your toes in the water, hiking the Gatineau Hills, having a beer in your favourite pub, riding bikes down a dirt road, walking the streets of the Byward Market or even Montreal, or going for a paddle in your canoe…in your wedding dress. Imagine not worrying about getting your dress dirty or having your hair out of place…because, hey! The jig is up. You’re married, you looked flawless…and now you have this gorgeous dress that is just going to be dry-cleaned and shoved into the back of your closet.
