There’s nothing like a fall engagement session in the Byward Market to remind you how beautiful Ottawa is. Sometimes, we overlook just how great our own city is. But on this beautiful fall evening, it was all kinds of perfection.

Alissa and Nigel met almost 7 years ago, on the OC Transpo, at 3am. Yep, you read correctly. After a night out with friends, Alissa was taking the bus home, as was Nigel. The two got to talking, and later went on their first date! Proof that you can meet your soul mate just about anywhere!

I met Alissa and Nigel at my home studio one chilly February evening earlier this year, after having chatted with Alissa at the Wedding Palace Bridal Show. They booked me on the spot. I love when a bride and groom know what they want!

I have yet to shoot at Stonefields (shocking, yes!) and have been looking forward to this wedding since Alissa and Nigel booked me for their wedding. The countdown is on!
