I’m home from a week in Mexico with my two boys and parents and truthfully the last few days of catching up on work have felt more like a vacation. Travelling with two kids is no joke. Especially when they both want to do everything with just you. That said, I am missing the sunshine and the warmth. Which brings me to finally blogging this Carleton Place winter engagement session. It was sunny and a considerably “warm” winter day. And these two were just glowing.
I met up with Dan and Melissa at Dan’s childhood home in Carleton Place, where we trekked through the snowy backyard for some photos. And I mean trekked. There were points where we were waist deep in snow. I was in snow pants, and this was my first shoot since having Beau, so I was as happy as could be! And even though these two were soaked and cold, they exuded happiness in every photo. Dream clients.
Check out some of my faves from our session!
Like, what a stunner Melissa! And beautiful makeup by the always amazing Teri-Leigh Armstrong xo
When clients happily hike up a snow hill for the shot, you know you’ve got some good ones!
I am so excited for Melissa and Dan’s wedding in October at the Marshes Golf Club. It’s going to be the most perfect day!
