So, I don’t know about you, but this self isolation thing is starting to freak me out. I love my family, but spending all day, every day with the same 3 people and barely even seeing another human is weeeeeird. Who knows how long this is going to go on for…all I know is that I need to try to fit in some work here and there. Staying busy, moving my body and challenging my mind is where it’s at. So today, I give you a little warmth and love in an effort to boost your spirits a little.

Last year around this time, I launched the Adventure Session: a photo session that takes place after your wedding in a completely different location and/or season that you secretly kinda wanted but could never have made happen. Cause #snow. Or #toofar.

So here you have it. Megan and David were married in August at the Museum of History in Gatineau, overlooking the Parliament Buildings and the Ottawa River. It was the perfect summer day, not too hot, not too cold.

Megan really loved the idea of getting more wedding photos, in a completely different season, at a completely different location.

We landed on Meech Lake, on a beautiful day in February, as the sun was setting. Here are some of my faves – it was SO hard to narrow it down.
