January started off with a bang – my 30th birthday filled with friends, family and some much needed pampering. It could not have been a better way to ring in the new year and a new chapter in my life. It was also the launch of my new website and brand…which looks easy enough, but when you factor in everything that needs to be changed (i.e. website, blog, facebook, instagram, business cards, handouts, packaging, etc.), it gets time consuming! So it was a much needed break to have some extra time to work on that, and less time behind the camera.

But I must say, it felt so good to get back to it last weekend. I missed watching couples unfold into each other. Cuddling up not only to beat the cold but to feel that good lovin’ you only get when you’re nestled up close to your main man or leading lady. Call me a creeper, but it just warms your heart to witness.

Jess and Chris brought their little guy Jackson, along with Milo, the most adorable puppy there ever was. We snapped some pictures of them as a fam at the Mer Bleue Bog and then spent some time with just the two of them, cuddled and cozy.
