Oh my goooooooodness, this day! I cannot even begin to tell you how perfect this Strathmere Lodge spring wedding was! Bryanne and Brandon are the sweetest of couples and I was so looking forward to this one after photographing their engagement session last fall.

My day started off with the boys getting ready in one of the suites at Strathmere. Things were laid back and relaxed, and the boys were looking sharp.

From here, I made my way to the mother of the bride’s home in Manotick where the girls were putting the finishing touches on hair and makeup before getting dressed. Speaking of dresses…can we please talk about how GORGEOUS this wedding dress is? Wait til you see it on. Holy smokes.

The groom surprised the bride with a beautiful diamond bracelet and a heartfelt card.

The ceremony took place at the sweetest little church in Manotick. The ceremony was performed by the priest who baptized Bryanne, so it was extra special!

Oh, The Lodge. Strathmere does such a good job of making this space feel quaint and special. I’ve photographed many weddings here and every one is different and unique in it’s own way.

Ok, so if you didn’t know, Stella Luna will come to your cocktail hour and set up shop. What a treat. I may have devoured a quick peanut butter chocolate chip before getting back to family photos. SO freaking good.

This wedding reception was nothing short of heartfelt and hilarious. The speeches were so well done…there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
