After shooting James and Alisha’s engagement session at the Ornamental Gardens last summer, I knew this was wedding was going to be a dream. And I was right!
This was my second time shooting a Saunders Farm wedding and it did not disappoint. This bride and groom were so easy to work with and the bridesmaids did such a good job helping to decorate and organize the venue and the day. Special shout out to Maid of Honour extraordinaire Kelsy. Honestly, she may as well quit her day job and become a wedding planner.
The bride and her bridesmaids were getting ready at the farm house at Saunders, with Lyz Plant of Klava Z makeup glamming up the girls.
The bride’s cousin is a hair stylist and did such a good job putting the bride’s look together. And I mean, this makeup? Come on.
Over at the Holiday Inn in Kanata, the groom and groomsmen were putting on their suits and enjoying a little scotch before making their way out to Saunders Farm.
Alisha gifted James a ring with his family crest engraved on it. His face alone is priceless, but it was definitely a hit!
Remember when I told you the bridesmaids did an amazing job of the reception space? Can we talk about how beautiful everything looks?
The ceremony was set to get started, and they even included their dog! So cute!
Good lord, Alisha, you make the most beautiful bride!!!
There was no shortage of laughs or tears during this reception. The speeches were all so, so good!
Congratulations Alisha and James! I am so happy to have been part of your day!
