It was threatening rain for this Quebec countryside fall engagement session in Mayo. An hour outside of Ottawa, we weren’t sure whether to risk it, in hopes of beating the rain, or whether to postpone for sunnier skies. The problem was, Tess was keen to get some beautiful photos at this time of year at her grandparents’ farm. So, we decided to brave the rain and see what Mother Nature had in store for us!

My entire drive up to Mayo, Quebec was a mix of clouds, and then even heavier clouds. Right as I turned off the highway into Mayo, it started to sprinkle. But, I am so happy to say that the rain held off for this beautiful countryside engagement session!

Tess and Trevor brought their three adorable dogs along for their session. They are hard to spot in some of the photos, especially among the taller grass. Meet my first ever “Where’s Waldo” themed engagement session. Ha.

Tess, you are GORGEOUS!

Is this not the most beautiful property you’ve ever seen?! When Tess was a little girl, she would ride horses here at her grandparents farm. Endless trails surround these fields.

I cannot wait for their wedding next summer at Lago! These two are going to make the most adorable bride and groom!
