It was so nice seeing Jen and Ben + adorable Rocky again. Their engagement session last spring honestly doesn’t feel that long ago. Where does the time go. Also can we please compare and contrast this first photo with the one from last week??
This was the first frame of our shoot – Rocky set the tone perfectly. And almost completely stole the show. But nothing could show up sweet baby Harper. Also…it was making me mourn the loss of my little guy’s baby days. That sweet baby phase is over and I just want to hold on to each quiet cuddle with my man Beau.
Jen and Ben were my final wedding before calling it quits a month before Beau’s arrival last year. I remember being so excited and grateful to shoot this last wedding but also mega nervous my body would give out on me. But, their wedding day was so much fun I honestly barely remember that low back pain lol.
They welcomed their sweet baby girl Harper 3 months ago and she is just the sweetest.
We went back to Andrew Haydon Park where we walked around only just a year ago on their wedding day. It was SO incredibly cold and windy on their November wedding day, but somehow they took it like champs, didn’t complain and just completely enjoyed their wedding day to its fullest.
This shoot was such a beautiful reminder of how much I love being part of my clients’ journey. Sounds mega cheese, but I think it’s so awesome when clients see the value in documenting every age and stage of their lives. Engagement, wedding, baby girl…I love it.
I still have room for a few more winter lifestyle sessions. Send me an email for more info if you’re interested xo
