Ottawa Arboretum maternity photos at sunset: Jess and Dan |

It’s been all weddings and engagement sessions around these parts lately, so when Jess and Dan’s maternity session at the Ottawa Arboretum came about, I was so ready to switch gears. Don’t get me wrong, I love photographing weddings and engagements. But sometimes, it’s just nice to switch it up.

It was the perfect evening at the Arboretum. The sun was setting, the crazy heat wave hadn’t quite hit yet, so it was actually bearable to get close and cuddly without sweating all over each other. Amen.

Jess and Dan brought along their sweet dog, Reese, for a few photos until Jess’s fam came to scoop her up so we could take a few more photos of just these expecting parents.
