I prepped this whole blog post only to realize that it never saved…I love when that happens. Cause, you know, I have infinite time to creatively write content for my blog posts…ahem. Technology, while swell, is not always my favourite. But, it’s a great reminder to double and triple check that your work is backed up, saved, and backed up some more so you don’t waste time re-typing all of it again.
Anyways, on to cuter things!
Last week, I had the pleasure of taking some lifestyle photos of a 3 month old baby boy at this family’s adorable home in Hintonburg. I was scheduled to take photos of baby William, days after he was born in December, but unfortunately, William’s mom ended up having to back into the hospital for a period of time so we postponed. I was so happy to see Sharon’s name pop up in my inbox a few weeks ago, in hopes of rescheduling their session with me!
Honestly, whoever “they” is, say it’s best to take newborn photos between 7-10 days old. Babies tend to me most compliant, sleepiest, and thus easier to photograph. When it comes to lifestyle photos, however, I like to just photograph things the way they are. Whether the babe is 7 days old or 3 months old, they’re still wee and adorable. But at 3 months of age, baby William was more alert, interactive and had loads of adorable personality. I’m so happy we were able to take these photos!
Baby hands…possibly the cutest thing in existence. I basically wish I could have bottled Smith’s adorable hands for life…but now he has monster paws as my mom pointed out to me not long ago.
There’s no better time than the present to have photos of your little fam taken. These babes grow up TOO FAST and while time cannot stand still, photos can help you capture a moment in time before they’re 16 years old, learning how to drive. Happy Thursday, friends!
