Nothing like a pandemic to completely change your plans and altar your guests list for your wedding. Cassandra and John were supposed to have a big Italian wedding but instead opted for an intimate dinner at the Andaz Hotel in Ottawa following their church wedding.

My day started off with the girls getting ready at Cassandra’s childhood home. I want every piece of furniture in this place…

Cassandra’s father passed away earlier this year and it was important for her to incorporate something in his memory. This was his Jeep Wrangler which they decorated with a “Just Married” sign and drove to their reception in. Adorable.

The team at Feast and Revel at the Andaz Hotel did a great job transforming this room into an intimate space for dinner.

These bridesmaids killed it with a number of the bride’s favourite songs with special lyrics just for the bride and groom. They were amazing!

The bride’s sister toasted her late father with a tequila shot for everyone. It was heartfelt and emotional and a beautiful moment felt by everyone.
