This sunset wedding at Stanley’s Maple Lane Farm was everything I could have wanted in a wedding, and more. The entire day was so laid back, so relaxed and we had so much time for photos…it was a dream!
I’ve known Meghan for about three years, since I started working at Yogatown. Anyone that knows her would agree she is an incredibly kind and spirited soul. So full of life and love in whatever she does. I knew this wedding would be just that. And boy, was it ever.
Our day started off at Studio Me hair salon in Hintonburg where the girls were getting beautified.
Can we please talk about how gorgeous this hair is?!
I left the girls for a bit and went scouting for an interesting place to take a few detail shots. This wall…I want to take it home with me!
Then off we went to Stanley’s Maple Lane Farm! Meghan decided to wait to get into her dress until she arrived at the farm, and when she asked what I thought about her getting dressed outdoors, I immediately said YES, please!! How perfect. We found a little knook on the grounds, where Meghan’s bridesmaids helped her into her dress.
Once Meghan was dressed and ready to go, we got Oliver ready to see his bride for the first time! I love when couples decide to do a first look. It’s such a perfect moment and about the only one that couples will have just to themselves all day.
Like, PURE happiness!!
After their first look, Meghan and Oliver walked the grounds at Stanley’s Maple Lane Farm to take some portraits. If you’ve never been there, it’s worth the drive. It’s gorgeous.
Again, I’m back to the hair. But the HAIR!? Just simply perfection. I need to figure out how to do this fishtail braid…not that I have the hair for it, but #hairgoals.
We got the wedding party together for a few photos before the ceremony, as well!
These DIY bouquets that Meghan’s family made were so beautifully done!
Before the ceremony, Meghan wanted to share a moment alone with her dad, seeing her in her dress for the first time. Not gonna lie…things got blurry behind my lens.
Just as guests were getting seated for the ceremony, the sun was starting to peek through the trees, giving everything a warm glow. This, my friends, is every photographer’s dream. A wedding at sunset. Yes please.
Pinky swears at wedding ceremonies. The best.
Like, come ON! This light!!!! I can’t!
It was the most perfect day and I just wish we could do it all over again! Congrats to Meghan and Oliver!
