Sunset engagement session at Jack Pine Trail in Ottawa: Kaitlin and Peter |

I remember meeting Kailtin and Peter and immediately thinking to myself – I want to shoot their wedding. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and they are getting married at Saunders Farm. I have yet to shoot a wedding there, but have always wanted to! Cannot wait!

Kaitlin and Pete met in Panorama, a ski town in British Columbia. Pete is from Australia, and Kailtin was working there at the time. Their first date was at Jack Pine pub. Pete proposed along the Jack Pine Trail here in Ottawa, as an ode to their first date. Adorbs. So naturally, their engagement session would have to be on that same trail!

Pete is a firefighter. At the time that we met, my husband had just started with the fire department. Turns out, they had worked a shift together not that long ago! When Kaitlin emailed me to confirm their booking, she kindly invited Tim to come to their wedding with me! What a sweetheart.
