It was potentially the rainiest day I have ever witnessed. Like seriously. My whole drive out to Constance Bay was pouring…to the point where I couldn’t see the car in front of me on the highway. But they say it’s good luck when it rains on your wedding day!
In true Brittany form, she was the calmest of brides I’ve ever seen. It was raining, but that didn’t take away from the fact that she was about to marry the man of her dreams. What was supposed to be an outdoor wedding on the farm quickly turned into a ceremony underneath the coverall, standing on a hay wagon, with 250+ guests seated around the beautifully decorated reception area.
Our day started at Brittany’s house where the girls were putting the finishing touches on hair and makeup.
Kurtis could not have been happier – he was marrying the girl of his dreams AND the drought was over! His crops were watered. Every farmers dream…
Following the ceremony, a brave entourage followed us out into the cornfields to snap some photos of the bride and groom in the rain. And as luck had it, the rain stopped long enough for us to get some photos before it really got dark out!
Congrats you beautiful people!
