This was my first Ottawa Experimental Farm wedding and I hope that it’s not the last. This was such a beautiful venue for a wedding. Outdoors, old barn, cows, beautiful bride and groom. It doesn’t get much better than this.
You may remember Paul and Jaimie from their adorable wine-filled engagement session at Breather in the Byward Market last summer. Paul and I went to elementary and high school together, although he was a year older. He was my ally in grade nine when I hardly knew anyone at school since we’d switched from a french to english school board.
The wedding day started off with the girls getting ready at a cute little Air BnB I never knew existed. And I drive past it every day!
Over at the bride and groom’s house, the boys were getting ready to head to the ceremony. It never ceases to amaze me how little time it takes for guys to get ready!
Paul got each of his groomsmen personalized baseball bats. Paul grew up playing baseball and is still such a fan of the sport, it only seemed fitting as groomsmen gifts. So adorbs.
Ok, prepare yourselves people. The girls over at Frid Events knocked it out of the park (like my baseball reference, there?!). I was so blown away when I got to this Ottawa Experimental Farm wedding. Check it out!
Please note the bride’s brother tearing up as she walks down the aisle. Adorable!
While we scooted off to take photos down the road, the guests enjoyed cocktail hour and were treated to a special surprise. COWS!
Meanwhile, we took photos of the wedding party and bride and groom over by the greenhouses. So in love with this group!
This reception was full of laughs, a few tears and lots of love. Perfection!
Congratulations to this beautiful couple on the most perfect day!
