If you’ve been following me for a while, you have likely seen this wedding on my Instagram page and thought to yourself, WOAH. What a vibe! Kelsey and Kane had the most perfect wedding day, if I do say so myself. So relaxed, so stress free, even though they were calling for a TON of rain. But let’s talk about this black, sequin wedding dress. I am still so obsessed.
The bride and groom got ready together at home the afternoon of their wedding day. Their home was in the midst of a major renovation but having some of these raw elements against their very elegant wardrobe was such a cool contrast.
We had to get a photo in front of the massive garbage bin in their driveway!
We took some photos around their residential neighbourhood before we hopped on the big yellow school bus to drive around a few of their favourites spots in the city.
The Minto Bridge is one of my favourite spots. This bridge is unlike any other in Ottawa. So beautiful!
We made our way to North and Navy for their very intimate wedding ceremony among their closest family and friends. What a beautiful spot for a wedding!
The groom was the best kind of emotional during the ceremony. So many happy tears…not going to lie, it was kinda hard keeping it together myself seeing him so emotional.
A little champagne toast before we hit the big yellow school bus again to take some family photos and a few more of the bride and groom as husband and wife!
Obsessed with this wedding and these two! What an amazing day! Congrats to the bride and groom on pulling one of the best weddings I’ve had the pleasure of photographing!
