Restaurant 18 Wedding in Ottawa
To say I was excited for this wedding is an understatement. My dear friend, Dana, got married to her main man Paul last month on a gorgeous fall day in late September. Restaurant 18 was the perfect backdrop for this intimate wedding. The bridesmaids looked stunning in their navy blue sequenced dresses and beautiful vibrant orange bouquets. Mill Street Florist did not disappoint!
My day started off hanging with the guys, drinking beers at the Lord Elgin hotel. I did not drink beer. They did. I had to wait to start the party a little later.
Bride getting ready
Afterwards, I headed out to Dana’s parents place where the girls were getting ready, sipping on champagne in fancy glasses and getting beautified (as if they needed more beauty)! Dana’s gorgeous dress from With Love Bridal was so elegant and suited her perfectly.
One Fine Beauty did an amazing job as per usual on the bride’s flawless makeup.
Ceremony
Onto Restaurant 18 for the ceremony. What a beautiful space!
Following the ceremony, the wedding party walked over to Majors Hill Park for photos before heading back to the reception for dinner and dancing. We had some laughs.
Back at Restaurant 18, we laughed, we cried, and we laughed some more! Some great speeches from family and friends!
Then I kicked off my shoes, put away my camera, and spent the rest of the evening celebrating Dana and Paul! Ole!
