So I showed up to the Museum of Civilization for an engagement shoot with a couple I had not yet met and awkwardly lingered by the front entrance, trying to make the camera around my neck as evident as possible. I looked around at all the possible couples, looking to see if they were looking for me…trying to make eye contact, trying to guess if they were the couple I was there to meet. Then I saw them – Heather dressed to the nines, and tall guy Allan…a very familiar face. Turns out we both went to the same high school – SMALL world. I had to contain my surprise, long enough to introduce myself and ask them how they were doing, before I made the connection. Allan didn’t quite remember me…I remembered him from his pro-volleyball days. GO HAWKS!
These two were real troopers. Not only is it uncomfortable for almost anyone to have their picture taken, it was so dang HOT and humid in that museum. But we braved the elements and had a blast exploring the museum. Here are some of my faves from the day!
That’s the Vancouver airport in the background, where Heather is from and where I went to school. We reminisced a little bit 🙂
The Voodoo exhibit…creeeeeeepy.
We visited the classroom, too!
Heather, you are such a STUNNER! What a gorgeous smile!
I love this one! Makes me giggle every time!
Hilarious.
Thanks you two!! It was a great little afternoon at the museum!
