Stefany is one of those people that when you first meet her, you get the sense that she is shy and reserved, yet heartfelt. However, as you get to know her, she comes out of her shell in such a spirited way.

Not only is she kind, courageous, warm and energetic, she is SO much fun. She’s outgoing, funny, caring, supportive…I could go on and on.

While we don’t see each other each and every day as we did sitting next to one another in class at Vanarts, there is still that energy between us that never quits. We bounce ideas off one another constantly, we send each other quirky text messages or emails that only we find particularly hilarious, and as a result, our friendship continues to grow.

As I did last year in photography school, I did once again when we had the opportunity to photograph one another – I watched her come out of her shell.
