I could not be more happy, more proud and more head over heals in love with these two. To say their love story belongs in a movie is an understatement. Like, seriously.
My sweet cousin Alisa and Phil met one fateful evening in April 2011 at a bar in Vancouver. I was lucky enough to be there to witness it all. We were there for a friend’s bachelorette party, Phil was there for a friend’s birthday. Alisa and Phil spent most of the evening chatting at the bar while the rest of us danced the night away on the dance floor. They’ve pretty much been inseparable ever since. Not long after, Alisa found out she got a job in Montreal starting a few months later and it didn’t take long for them to decide that Phil would follow her there. While the move may have proved difficult for an English speaking, Irish fellow, he did it all with a smile on his face for the girl he loves. It didn’t take long for us to notice that he was the one.
Alisa and Phil were married just outside of Dublin in July amongst their closest friends and family. This puts a cherry on top of their fairytale if I do say so myself. Check out how GORGEOUS these two are.
The festivities started with a Mehndi night in honor of Alisa’s Indian roots! So beautiful 🙂
And then the next day, the wedding festivities began!
And then the SUN came out!
This is what happens when you ask my cousin to stand in for me while I test the light. Amazeballs.
And then we partied…family style.
CONGRATS YOU TWO!! xoxo
