It was one of those rainy days where the rain would just not let up. Everything was wet and damp, but spirits were still high on this wedding day. It has been a long time since I’ve photographed a Greek wedding so in truth I had kind of forgotten what to expect.
The guys got ready at the beautiful the Wakefield Grand hotel.
The girls were a little late arriving to Le Belvedere guest house where the bride and her bridesmaids got dressed and ready. Despite the rain, you could just feel the excitement.
Once the bride was dressed and ready, we drove to the Wakefield covered bridge to meet the groom for the first look.
We headed back to Le Belvedere where we took a few more photos. I love this photo of the groom and his daughter.
Over at Le Belvedere, guests were starting to arrive and the tables were set and ready.
The great thing about getting married at Le Belvedere is that even though the outdoor space is really the beauty of this venue, they have a killer indoor ceremony space as back up. So on this rainy day, we had this Greek Orthodox wedding indoors.
So many tears and so many laughs during speeches…it was such an amazing night filled with love.
As luck would have it, the rain FINALLY let up and we managed to sneak outside for some sunset photos. Sunset photos at Le Belvedere are no joke. Literally the most beautiful sunsets allllll the time.
Congratulations you two! What a perfect day! xo
