To say I was excited for this wedding is an understatement. Vanessa and I sit 2 feet away from each other at work every day. Last summer, she sat and listened to me as I stressed about wedding planning and all the details that went into it. Shortly thereafter, Vanessa and Evan were engaged and I returned the favour, offering advice where I could and shut it when I knew to just listen.
I had only met Evan a few times, but I already felt like I knew him so well by the time the wedding day rolled around. The two of them together just makes sense. Each of them compliment the other in the most perfect way. Vanessa laughs at all of Evan’s “witty” puns, Evan matches Vanessa’s level of excitement over the wedding bouquets and her up-do. They love each other unconditionally, support each other wholeheartedly and on April 12, 2014 promised to be together always and forever.
Here’s a glimpse into the sweetest, most adorable DIY wedding ever. They made EVERYTHING for this wedding. I’m talking cut down birch trees, built high top tables, made sign after sign, stitched one hundred and something cloth bags to put spices in as their wedding favours, you name it.
Congrats you two xoxo.
