Sometimes, the weather just doesn’t cooperate. It can be sunny one minute, then suddenly the dark, ominous clouds roll in and it’s game over. In the case of Dana and Seb’s wedding, it was the complete opposite. It poured all morning the day of their wedding. The sun was nowhere to be seen. While I was trying not to freak out over where we are going to take pictures at an outdoor venue, Dana and Seb were cool, calm, collected, and simply happy to be marrying their best friend that day. Just as they arrived at the covered bridge, in Wakefield, QC, the rain stopped. We managed to sneak a few pictures outside, before moving to safer quarters on the bridge for the family photos…just in case. In case that wasn’t good enough, the sun suddenly found its way through the clouds just as Dana and Seb stood together in front of their closest friends and family to commence their ceremony. Some may have called it a lucky coincidence…I’d like to think it was more than just that.
Judging by their vows (which I wish I could recall more of!), these two are incredible. There was so much meaning and so much appreciation for one another, their work (they both work for NGO’s), and their future together. I may have teared up. Which makes it rather difficult to take pictures!! Haha.
Here are some of the highlights from their amazing wedding!!
Did I mention there was some Greek dancing? Amazing!
And some breaking of the Macedonian bread…
A French Canadian family and a Greek family coming together makes for a pretty great dance party! Boy, did they ever dance!!
Thank you for a fabulous day!! All the best to the bride and groom xo!
