Lauren and I met many moons ago through a mutual friend who now lives in Calgary (Hi Sam!!) and I also happened to photograph her brother’s wedding years ago at Sidedoor Comtemporary Kitchen.
Ian and I went to the same high school however he was a few years older than me. I definitely remember seeing him at parties but to be honest, I’m not sure we ever really exchanged more than a “hey what’s up” if that.
All this to say – Ottawa is small. And my husband, who grew up out west, always laughs because it feels like anytime we venture out, I always run into someone I went to Hillcrest with. And I say, “Yes. Everyone in Ottawa did go to Hillcrest”.
Lauren and Ian will be gracing us again on the blog in no time as they are getting married this coming weekend. I’m so pumped to shoot another wedding at the Horticulture Building. It’s such a beauty.
A few weeks ago, I met up with Lauren and Ian at their friend’s house in Chelsea, who have a beautiful property we got to explore.
Their sweetest little dog joined us for a few photos. The best.
So excited for this Horticulture Building wedding on Saturday! Stay tuned for all the sneak peeks. It’s going to be soooooo good.
Congratulations Lauren and Ian! xoxo
