It was such a treat to photograph this lovely little guy and his mom and dad. This being my first newborn shoot, I went in as prepared as could be but quickly realized that there is only so much planning you can do for a newborn session. If there’s something to take away from this session and to keep in mind when photographing a newborn, it’s that you have to be really patient. Both the parents and the photographer have to keep in mind that your little newborn has needs – they need to be fed, changed, comforted, fed, changed, comforted. There is no need to rush, stress, worry…These sessions are meant to be fun and enjoyable for everyone involved. That being said, Sara and Mark were nothing but welcoming and patient with me…it made for such a great little evening with baby Caleb. While we could not seem to get the little guy to fall asleep for a few photos, we still managed to get some great stuff out of this cutie pie!!
