Oh em gee!!!! This Calabogie Lake sunset engagement session has hit the blog and I’m oh so excited about it!! It was one of those days where sweet ol’ Mother Nature couldn’t make up her damn mind. Dana and I went back and forth about whether or not to move forward with our session that evening or postpone for better weather. My entire drive up to Calabogie was a nail-biter. Every bend in the road, I was either driving into sunshine trying to poke through the clouds, or massive, dark storm clouds in the distance. There was no telling what the weather would look like by the time I arrived.

As luck would have it, it was perfect. The clouds parted just enough that the sun was able to grace us with a beautiful sky.

Dana and Chris like to spend summer days on Calabogie Lake. I’m told on weekends, this place gets crazy busy, but it felt like we had the lake to ourselves that night.

Can’t wait for these two to tie the knot in Pembroke, Ontario next summer! It’s going to be a good one!
