I met Kari and Jordan last year when I was 9 months pregnant. About ready to pop, we met in my home studio where we chatted about their EPIC proposal story at Disney Land, and their vision for their wedding day the following year. Days later, they booked me for their wedding photography. Maybe because they didn’t want to wait any longer, with the risk that I might go into labour, or maybe because we just clicked!
A few months later, we met up in the fall for their engagement session at Pinhey’s Point. The light was amaaaaazing. Bonus: you could just feel the giddy love they have for one another.
Their wedding day was nothing short of perfection. The day started off at Jordan’s family home where the groomsmen sipped on beer and shared some laughs.
I’m sure I’m not the only one that wiped away a few tears watching Jordan read his card from his future wife. SO cute!
Jordan had personalized tie clips made for all his groomsmen and both his dad and future father-in-law. So sweet.
Then, we headed to the Brookstreet hotel, where the girls were sipping on tasty drinks, and getting ready to put on their dresses.
Kari’s friends had yet to see her wedding dress, so she asked them all to hide in the little dining room, just off of the bedroom while her mom helped her into her dress.
Can we please talk about how amazing these shoes are?! I think every girl needs a pair of Kate Spade sparkly running shoes. And a “wifey” champagne flute.
A hop, skip and a jump over to the Marshes golf club, the ceremony was set to get underway.
Nothing gets the crowd sobbing like watching the groom tear up, seeing his bride for the first time.
Are those not the happiest faces you’ve ever seen?!
Kari, this DRESS!!! All of the heart eye emojis!!! Just perfection…
Congrats Kari and Jordan! This day was all kinds of perfect!
