Bank of Canada Building and Social Engagement Session

Meagan and Nizar met randomly one night through a mutual friend while walking around the market. Two groups of friends became one for the evening, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Nizar had planned a romantic evening at a quaint little restaurant in the market, where he had hoped to surprise Meagan with a proposal. But when they arrived at the restaurant, he quickly realized that “quaint” was perhaps too much so, given that they were close enough to discuss food choices with their neighboring table…
After dinner, Nizar suggested they go for a drink at the piano bar in the Hotel Lac Leamey where he successfully surprised Meagan with a gorgeous ring, and a promise of happily ever after.

Last weekend, I got to share in their excitement as I photographed their engagement session. They are such a gorgeous couple…I couldn’t wait to get home to upload the images to my computer!!
We started off at the Bank of Canada building for an outdoorsy feel (in the warmth of the building’s lobby!) and then made our way to Social Restaurant and Lounge in the market (a BIG thank you to the staff at Social for being so helpful and friendly!).
