I love a good Friday wedding. It has a whole different feel to it. The vibe is so relaxed, so laid back, and everyone is pretty thankful to have the afternoon off work to get ready for a beautiful fall wedding!
You might remember Chris and Kelly’s windy engagement session at the Experimental Farm from earlier this year. To think I was almost 9 months pregnant when we last saw each other!
Strathmere Garden House Wedding
The day started off at the Strathmere guest houses where the girls were getting ready for the day, sipping on wine in their personalized wine glasses and helping Kelly into her beautiful dress.
The boys and the groomswomen got ready just below where the girls were getting ready. Crammed into a much smaller room, they still looked good.
First look
Chris and Kelly opted to do a first look. First looks are so great – get the jitters out, have a private moment together and then do all of the photos before the ceremony even starts.
The wedding party
What a gorgeous wedding party, am I right? You can never go wrong with black dresses…such a classic look!
The ceremony
Thankfully the weather cooperated so Chris and Kelly were able to get married on the patio outside of the Garden House. It’s such a cute space!
The reception
I loved their super simple but elegant table settings. Little wooden logs served as place card holders on each table.
There wasn’t much of a sunset due to the clouds so rather than sneak out for more photos at sunset, we got some super sweet photos after the sun had set before calling it a night!
Congrats to the gorgeous pair on a beautiful fall wedding!
