Sitting in the airport, waiting to board my flight home after 2 days at a photography conference in Toronto, I’m watching the hustle bustle of the crowds coming and going. Some are heading home, some are leaving. Some are traveling for work, others are traveling for pleasure. All of us going through the motions, immersed in the busyness and chaos that life inevitably offers.
As I sit here and observe, I’m reminded of the comforts that family, friends and home can bring. That feeling of being exactly where you’re meant to be, with the ones that you love, with those who offer you unconditional love and support no matter what. However, sometimes in the busyness of it all, we lose sight of what’s most important. But when you come home, greeted by family, the busyness slows for just a moment and we are exactly where we need to be.
What better way to celebrate family than updating your last family photo. What was supposed to be a fall day ended up being one of the nicest days we had this season. The beach was packed with families, friends and anyone looking to enjoy what was likely to be one of the last nice days before the weather got cooler. There were even a few brave souls swimming in the water.
If you don’t already follow me on Facebook, go ahead and like my page! There you will find an announcement in the next month or so for the next round of mini sessions coming up just before Christmas! I don’t think we’ll be treated to unseasonably warm weather like this, but it may just be the opportunity you need to reminded of the comforts of home, of family and loved ones.
Until then, stay cozy, friends! xo
