OMG you guys, I am writing a BLOG POST! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve even had the time or the energy to think about sitting down to share all the amazingness I’ve been lucky enough to photograph this wedding season. But, here you have it. My first blog post in what feels like a decade.

We’re going back in time to one of the HOTTEST DAYS EVER in August for this one. Amber and Tom were married in their family’s backyard in Carleton Place.

My day started with the girls at one of the bridesmaids’ houses where they were putting the final touches on hair and makeup.

Daniella from the Tulle Box did a killer job on the bride’s makeup!

I arrived to the family’s backyard where the reception tent and ceremony site were decked out in all the most beautiful DIY elements.

Amber is super crafty and made everyone a personalized coaster to take home. I still have mine in my office for my coffee cup.

Amber and Tom’s dogs were part of the day and the perfect addition.

Can you believe they built this hexagon arch?

The hugs were my favourite part.

The tented reception in their backyard was perfect.

This day was so lovely and I’m so happy to have been a part of it.
