Emily and John pulled together this family farm wedding in Brockville VERY quickly. In less than 6 weeks kind of quickly. Proof that you don’t need to plan years in advance for what will end up being the most perfect day.

The weather was looking great up until the last 30mins of my drive to Brockville when it started POURING rain. Like, people pulled over on the highway kinda rain. It looked as though it had cleared up once I finally got to Brockville but as I pulled in, the rain and the winds started up again and it was bad. Tables flipped over, vases, glasses and cutlery blown off the tables. And to top it all off, a tree fell onto the reception tent. Needless to say, it was a little chaotic upon my arrival.

The groom’s family owns Burnbrae Farms, with many lovely old stone farmhouses surrounding the property. The bride got ready in one house while the ceremony took place on another property down the road.

I joined the girls at one of the nearby farmhouses once the rain had died down to take a few photos of them.

How beautiful is this crew?! I knew instantly this was going to be a fun one!

With the rain holding off once more, we made our way to the ceremony site. Tell me this isn’t the most breathtaking floral arch you ever did see!? The work of Primrose and Willow – wow! And miraculously, even after the crazy wind and rain, these florals held up.
