Saunders Farm wedding: Kaitlin and Peter |

I was so excited for my first Saunders Farm wedding. And the fact that it was Kaitlin and Pete’s wedding was even more exciting. These two exude happiness. Like, seriously. Kaitlin said it best when I was leaving on her wedding day: when we met, she just knew I was “her person”. And I totally felt the exact same way. Kaitlin and Pete left our consult and I knew I wanted to shoot their wedding. It sounded like a perfect day and they are legit the sweetest couple.

You may remember their engagement session at the Jack Pine Trail last fall. The best!

My day started off with the boys. Sipping beers and waiting for the time to leave to go say “I do”.

Upon walking in to the bridal suite at Saunders Farm, the girls had just finished up their hair and makeup and were about to devour lunch: McDonalds. I must say, it’s a first to photograph, but I hope it’s not the last. The poor girls were famished so watching them pretty much inhale their cheeseburgers and fries was the perfect Kodak moment.

Once the girls were dressed and ready, the ceremony was ready to begin!

So get this. Kaitlin has a intense love for chicken wings. Her dad makes a mean chicken wing. So when she saw a handsome man (an Aussie no less!) eating chicken wings at the Jack Pine Pub in Panorama, she asked him how they were. He said fine. She sat down and ordered herself some chicken wings. And there lies the beginning of a lifetime of love…and chicken wings. Who knew a love story could start with chicken wings?
