Most importantly, wear something comfortable, that you can sit in and that makes you feel awesome (ok, maybe not your grey sweatpants with holes in them). Avoid both wearing patterns - stick to one between the two of you. Ladies, if you're wearing heels, bring a pair of flats to walk around in. Gents, wear bottoms with pockets and leave the flashy Nikes at home. Props? Do it. Bring along the guitar, the wine or even the canoe!

Think outside the box. What seems like a boring location may in fact be awesome. Where did you meet, go on your first date, get engaged? What do you like to do on weekends? Are you homebodies who prefer to stay in, cozy up, and make dinner by candlelight? Do you prefer grabbing a pint at the neighborhood pub?
